The FX-series spring formers use one servo motor to drive 8 individual slides. Cams are used to advance the slide toward working area to produce springs. The fast action of cams allow tools to move at speeds significantly faster than all-servo systems, resulting in dramatically faster production speeds. Using one servo motor instead of eight reduces cost, therefore giving you a more affordable machine.
